Panorama Hotel Prague: a view on a magical city

Prague is a magical city. If you haven't been there yet I suggest you book your tickets for 2020. The city has every aspect for a great city trip from culture to romance to history and a beautiful scenery. At night the city becomes even more magical especially when I was there around Christmas time. There were Christmas markets spread out over Prague and the Christmas decoration was so beautiful. I stayed at the Panorama Hotel located just outside the city center but very easy to reach with Uber or tram. A great base to discover this beautiful city.

I arrived at the hotel way before my check-in time but the staff at the reception was so helpfull and friendly to get me a room that was already free. The hotel has a cosy and authentic vibe to it. I was told I was staying on the 18th floor (there are 24 floors if I'm not mistaken). The room was okay. There was a minibar, a possibility to have coffee or tea and enough storage for my suitcase and clothes.

I decided to order some roomservice since I was tired after traveling and didn't really feel like going out. The menu had a good amount of dishes to pick from. Knowing me, I decided to go for a 3 course meal lol. I called them and 30 minutes after they already brought all the food. The waiter was so friendly and helpfull. I asked him to place the food on the bed so I could take some pictures of the setting before digging in and of course, to be extra comfy while eating. I chose a caprese salad for starters, chicken pasta as a main and crème brûlée for dessert. It was delicious.

After taking a nap (I love hotel beds and pillows, and yeah naps too) I decided to go check out the rest of the hotel. I discovered the business room where you have access to computers/internet, coffee and snacks. I'm pretty sure this room is only for members but I was allowed to enter it to create some content.

In the evening I felt like checking out the spa. Panorama hotel has a spa on the 24th floor with a sauna, a swimmingpool and a jacuzzi. You can also book a treatment or have a good workout at the well-equipped gym. A plus is that the panoramic view at the top floor is the nicest. Perfect to start your day or to unwind in the evening.

A good swim and sauna session was exactly what I needed before bed. Due to privacy reasons of the other guests I didn't take any pictures while being in the spa.

After a decent night rest it was time for breakfast. It was quite busy but I liked the fact that breakfast was served until 11 am and of course the panoramic view while drinking your coffee was just amazing.

The last evening of my stay at the Panorama Hotel I ordered roomservice again. This time a burger and some fries, once more the service was great and the food was good! You know you're getting old when you like to stay in with roomservice over going out lol :).

My overall stay was fine. Panorama hotel is definitely a good option if you prefere a hotel with wellness included. Also if you like to stay outside the super busy tourist center but still close to all the hot spots, this hotel is a good, budget friendly option.
